Most P.E. lessons are taken in school – these include football, netball, rounders, pool and in good weather these games are played outside. The pupils also practice Javelin and shot putt throwing for sports day. Every June pupils take part in an all-school sports day and compete in various events. During the year pupils are taken to the local leisure centre for swimming, to Dundonald Ice bowl for Ice Skating and bowling and to Ormeau for laser quest and tennis. They are also taken to Cherryvale playing fields in the summer for 11-a-side football. Each year they enter a special 5-a-side tournament and have won this tournament for the last 4 years. When phase 3 is completed we will have showers and better P.E. facilities in school.
